I made a StoryMap of the Introduction and most of Part I of J.M. Synge's 1907 The Aran Islands. Synge's text documents his time spent on the Aran Islands - three islands off the western coast of Ireland - in the 1890s. Synge's narrative reflects upon the history of the islands and its language, inhabitants, and culture and is a key text in the Irish Literary Revival.
